OK, so I just tried 3 minutes of stand up comedy at the open mic. And I sucked. But I got polite applause.

And I'm proud of myself, kinda...I said I was going to do it, and I did it. So yay.

And now back to reality....

I need to try that some time, yet I likewise have a bit of difficulty thinking of what to say.

Additionally, most of our open mics are on Saturday nights, at which time I am generally at home rather than at college. (There is *nothing* to do up here on the weekends, and at home I get meat and free laundry. It's worth putting up with mom to get those.)
